 AFTERSCHOOL ROBOTICS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Learn how to design, build, and program robots.  Get prepared for high school, college, and the future workforce by learning leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.  Imagination, humor, fun, and challenge make this an exciting after school class with new and old friends. 

BEGINNING COURSE: DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM

This is an exciting introductory class built on PROBLEM-SOLVING and TEAMWORK.  Students will be sharing specialized kits of LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT robotics equipment, and they will be learning an icon-based programming language similar to C-PLUS.   A variety of projects will be available to the students.  We will have in-class competitions which will include a variety of robotic cars, motorized catapults, and dancing robots, just to name a few.  So come join us for 14 weeks of fun.

CONTINUING STUDENTS ONLY: DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM

The material covered in the second session will be an extension of what was covered this fall.  There will be a continued emphasis on the design, construction, and programming of robots, which will involve problem-solving, brainstorming, researching, and most importantly, teamwork.  The students will be working on more advanced robots such as the “Sewer System Inspection Robot”, and/or the “Make-Up Assistant Robot.”  FUN!!  FUN!! FUN!!    Course work will begin where the first session ended.
